What are Moles?

Moles live the majority of their life underground. Their main diet consists of Earth Worms and Insects. They create tunnels that undermine your garden and property and can kill plants by taking away soil to the root system.

How to identify a Mole problem

Moles are quite small mammals with an average growth of 4.5 to 6 inches weighing around 4 Lbs. They live quite solitary lives and what may seem to the untrained eye could appear to be a mass infestation due to the amount of mounds or Mole hills can in most cases be put down to the work of one very busy little fellow.... We could use the photo of the mole hills on the wildlife page). Once they have had young and the young are weaned they are sent off to find their own place. They will defend their turf (pardon the pun!) if other Moles wonder into their space.
